We’ve launched tracking in the Hall of Fame for amounts taken from other players in StarPirates and SpyBattle.  The total amount raided is now tracked by the game.  The 20 players who have taken the most from other players, by raiding or pickpocketing (it differs between the games) will end up with their name in lights.  These will be dingy, inglorious lights as stealing isn’t exactly an activity to carry off glory.

Or maybe they’ll be really, really bright lights — after all with these funds the thieves sure can afford them!

StarPirates is one year old!!  Thanks to all of those who have made the online StarPirates.net RPG such a fantastic community to be a part of.  We’ve had many friendships made, even a marriage by a couple who met in the game, now that’s a community!  We’ve also mourned the passing of some friends – we miss you FF and GDL.

We will continue to add more features into the game – all the while focusing on keeping it easy to play so can stop in for a few minutes to play when you want. Or other times for hours.  Oh and we have a realllllly cool piece going live in early May. Definitely my favourite update so far!

One thing we will also have free notorious days from April 23rd to 29th.  Enjoy the present!

We are fast approaching the official one-year anniversary of Star Pirates on April 25th, 2009. When we opened on April 19, it was in the beta mode with selected players from Baneworld. So there are players who’ve been playing longer than Star Pirates has been open (at least officially). Wow – what a year. THANKS TO YOU!

We’ll probably celebrate on THURSDAY since many players will be away on SATURDAY. Anyone who’s ever played would do well to visit on THURSDAY, they may find it a Notoriously good week.
